Butembo Natural
Summary
A naturally processed Rwandan single origin from the Butembo washing station, located in a valley on the shores of Lake Kivu in Nyamasheke District, Western Province. Grown at 1,520-1,740 masl on nutrient-dense volcanic soil by producer Mr. Kubwimana Jean Bosco, the lot is Red Bourbon. Natural processing brings forward deep flavour notes, giving a full-bodied, complex cup softened by red berry sweetness, with tasting notes of blackberry, hibiscus and caramel, sparkling berry acidity, a medium coating body and a lingering dark chocolate finish.
