Ecuador Jose Jijon is a single-origin coffee from Ecuador produced by Jose Jijon in collaboration with his father Pepe at Fincas del Putushio. Grown at 2200 MASL elevation, the coffee is of the Typica variety and processed using the Dry Washed method: depulped, dry fermented for 24 hours, channel washed, then dried on raised beds for approximately 15 days. Roasted to an Expressive Dark level (Agtron #100) by Onyx Coffee Lab. Suitable for both filter and espresso extraction. Tasting notes include raw sugar, pumpkin, clementine, and crisp apple.
