Summary
A washed coffee from Gachenge Estate in Kirinyaga, Central Kenya, grown at 1650-1850 meters. Varieties SL28 and SL34. Floral aromas of rose, hibiscus, and linden; flavors of strawberry, lime, blood orange, cherry, and pomegranate with a marzipan-like, oily, milky texture. Citric, malic, tartaric, and phosphoric acidity, honey and fruit-sugar sweetness, creamy medium-length finish. Processed by selective handpicking, pulping, dry fermentation for 16-23 hours, washing, soaking parchment for 12 hours, and sun-drying on raised beds for 14-21 days.
