Colombia: El Triunfo

Summary

A Colombian microlot from producer Miguel Bohórquez, grown on his farm El Triunfo in the hills of Paloquemado, Central Huila, at 1800 m.a.s.l. This fully washed Pink Bourbon is selectively handpicked at peak ripeness and processed entirely on the farm, which has its own mill and drying facilities. In the cup it shows notes of apple jam, apricot, ripe figs and dried red berries, with bright floral acidity, a silky mouthfeel and a sweet, clean, lingering finish. Miguel is a member of the Coocentral cooperative in Central Huila.
