El Salvador: Las Nubes
Summary
Coffee from Finca Las Nubes in the Sonsonate department of El Salvador, at 1,675 m.a.s.l. on the slopes of Santa Ana Volcano. The Batlle family has farmed the estate since the 1920s, growing heritage Bourbon, Caturra and Pacamara. Cherries are fermented for 8 hours, then washed and dried on patios and raised African beds. In the cup: zesty orange freshness, caramel and delicate honey, with a sweet, silky finish and a round, velvety mouthfeel.
