Finca Alcatraz

MTRM is a specialty coffee roastery and café based in Budapest, Hungary, at József utca 46 in the 8th district. They're a hands-on roasting workshop—kávépörkölő műhely—with a tight, rotating lineup of single-origin offerings from Ethiopia, Colombia, Uganda, and Brazil, plus a decaf and even cascara. Their current selection includes lots from producers like Fazenda Vila Boa and Wilfredo Ule Vargas, processed in styles from dry-fermented to pulped. They also stock serious brewing gear (Fellow, Chemex, Timemore) and pro espresso machines. Open weekdays and Saturdays, they run a physical shop and gallery space where you can taste before you buy. New coffees drop regularly, and they wholesale to businesses too. No frills, just good beans and the tools to brew them.
