This coffee comes from 35 smallholder farmers in the Tolima region of Colombia, organized in the Café Agrario association. In cooperation with Siruma, members receive training in cultivation, processing and evaluation. Since 2020 the association is certified organic and produces its own fertilizers. The coffee is made from fully ripe cherries, fermented for 24 hours, washed and dried on African beds. Suukala means 'sweet in taste'. Varieties: Castillo and Caturra. Cupping score 86. Flavor notes: grapefruit, lime, molasses.
