Taiwan Hsu Tingyeh - Typica - Looproom Collaboration
Summary
A washed Typica lot from Zhou Wu Mountain farm in Chashan Village, Chiayi County, Taiwan, grown at 1,300 masl. Founded in 2001 by Hsu Tingyeh, who adapted high-mountain oolong fields to specialty coffee, the roughly 7-hectare farm handles everything in-house from seed germination to drying and milling. The cup shows sweet and slightly tart gooseberry, fresh-picked violets, and a distinct milk-tea creaminess with a mellow tannic quality. Released in collaboration with Looproom Coffee in Taipei.
