Burundi Masha (esp)
Summary
Single-origin espresso roast from Burundi, grown in the Kayanza region at 1672 MASL and produced by the Masha Washing Station. Built in 1989, the station works with smallholder families who grow around 200 to 250 coffee trees alongside food crops. Cherries are hand-picked, floated and sorted, then fermented, washed and dried on roughly 170 raised beds. Sweet and bright cup with caramel, milk chocolate, balanced blackberry and dried apricot, and a clean, delicate finish with notes of black tea.
