This coffee comes from smallholder farmers cultivating an average of 1.3 hectares at elevations reaching 2,000 meters in the Chirripó Mountains of the Brunca region in Costa Rica. Named in tribute to Don Claudio, founding president of CoopeAgri El General R.L., Costa Rica's largest cooperative. The coffee features Caturra and Catuai varieties, is washed processed, and offers a balanced cup with a creamy body and medium acidity. Flavour notes include milk chocolate, nougat, and mandarin orange.
