Finca Gascon
Summary
Finca Gascon is a specialty coffee from Antigua, Guatemala, produced by Felipe Contreras on the family farm founded by his father in 2012. This single-origin Arabica of the Bourbon variety is processed using the Pile Natural method: thick layers of whole cherries ferment in water for 72 hours, then dry on patios for 20-25 days. The farm practices regenerative agriculture, producing its own biofertilizers and biochar. The cup is fruity, floral and indulgent with lively acidity, featuring notes of peach, pear, rose, lemon and honey. Harvested manually from January to April at 1700 meters above sea level.
