Colombia By Sergio Aranda - Red Bourbon Natural
Summary
A natural processed Red Bourbon coffee from Finca Anaya in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia, produced by Sergio Aranda Gomez. Grown at 1600 MASL, the coffee undergoes an extended natural fermentation with a pre-ferment of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast and crushed cherries, followed by a 72-hour whole-cherry fermentation and slow drying. The cup is rich and jammy with notes of cherry licorice, blueberry pie, port wine, and Nutella, featuring bright berry acidity, a silky body, and a long finish of ripe berries, florals, and chocolate.
