Finca Machaca Filter
Summary
Single-origin Bolivian filter coffee from Finca Machaca in the Yungas of La Paz, at around 1,550 masl. Independent smallholder Hernando Machaca grows mainly Red Catuai and processes the cherries himself on the farm: hand-picked, sorted, depulped and fermented, then dried on the farm for about two weeks. The cup is full-bodied with present acidity and light sweetness, showing notes of red grapefruit, blackcurrant and almonds.
