Rwanda Humure
Summary
Rwanda Humure is an anaerobic natural coffee from the Gatsibo region of Rwanda, grown by local smallholder farmers at altitudes of 1550-1835 m. The Bourbon variety cherries were fermented for 72 hours in sealed plastic containers, then slowly dried on raised beds for 31 days. The Humure washing station, operated under Baho Coffee, is uniquely run entirely by women. The cup profile shows blue grape, strawberry and cocoa.
