Beautiful Beans Kenya '25
Summary
This exceptional Kenyan coffee comes from the Daviwa farm in Githunguri, Kiambu county, owned by David Waweru Kinyanjui and his family. Grown at 1805-1890 meters elevation on volcanic, well-draining soil, the farm cultivates 8,000 SL 28 trees. The coffee is hand-picked and processed using the washed method, followed by extended soaking and drying on raised African beds. The SL 28 variety delivers a clean, vibrant cup with notes of jasmine, orange blossom, currant, and black tea, with a long, lively finish. It has an SCA score of 86 points and a light roast, suitable for both filter and espresso preparation.
