Summary
This coffee comes from Cerro Azul farm in Valle del Cauca, Colombia, the first farm in Colombia to produce Geisha variety. Produced by Rigoberto and Luis Eduardo Herrera of Cafe Granja La Esperanza. Processed using a Hybrid Washed method involving a layered fermentation journey: 14 hours of open tank fermentation, 18 hours of oxygen-free sealed fermentation, then 24 hours of aerobic fermentation after pulping. Dried mechanically at 37°C. Grown at 1752-1941 masl. Flavour profile includes jasmine, nectarine, apricot, and riesling. Recommended for filter brewing.
