Colombia
Summary
A sweet coffee from Juan Pablo Argote, a producer in the Nariño region of Colombia. The beans come from three farmers (Jesus Cerón, Bernardo Cerón, and Yuli Urbano) with small plots around Argote's village, grouped into a high-end 'Morado Village Lot'. The cherries are hand-picked, de-pulped, washed with mountain water, fermented for 18-24 hours, sun-dried on concrete patios and raised 'drawers' for about 2 weeks, manually sorted, hulled and bagged at the Argote family farm. The result is a bright, layered cup that leans tropical, suitable for filter and espresso.
