Ratnagiri Estate Lab
Summary
This coffee comes from Ratnagiri Estate, a historic farm established in 1920 in India's Bababudangiri region (Western Ghats), managed by Ashok Patre. It is made from the Hemavathi variety, processed using a 96-hour extended carbonic maceration natural method with lab-grown microbial cultures, followed by 31 days of drying on raised beds. The cup profile features notes of marzipan, mango, and orange candy, with a fruit-forward, wine-like complexity. Suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
