Chelchele Espresso
Summary
Ethiopian single origin coffee from the Chelchele washing and dry processing site in Gedeb, Gedeo Zone, grown by local smallholder producers at 1900–2100 masl. The coffee is a Heirloom variety processed naturally. The Chelchele site, named after the village, operates 14 fermentation and washing tanks and 130–150 drying beds, and coffee is intercropped with Enset, beans and avocado trees in red-brown fertile soil. Flavour profile of strawberry, fig and vanilla. Roasted as an espresso.
