Ugandan coffee from the Buwobodeya village on Mt Elgon, East Uganda, produced by smallholder farmers around The Coffee Gardens station. Varieties Nyasaland, SL14 and SL28, washed and grown at 1800-2200 m.a.s.l. Flavour profile of persimmon, cashew and brown sugar. The Coffee Gardens was established in 2017 to produce specialty coffee ethically, with a transparent direct link between producers and consumers; the lot is named after the village where many of the farmers live.
