Summary

Kenyan washed coffee from the Rung'eto Farmers Cooperative, produced at the Kii Factory in Kirinyaga, Embu county. The cooperative has around 950 members growing coffee on the slopes of Mount Kenya, an area known for bright and complex flavour profiles. Varieties are SL-28, SL-34, Batian and Ruiru 11, grown at 1,310 to 1,900 masl. Cherries are hand sorted before de-pulping, dry fermented in tanks, washed and graded, then dried on raised beds for 12-20 days. Flavour profile of blackcurrant, raspberry and plum.
