Pink Bourbon | Thermal Shock | Sugarcane Ea Decaf | Colombia
Summary
A single-origin, single-varietal decaf coffee from Huila, Colombia, produced by Jhoan Vergara and Adrian Lasso at Beneficio Peñas Blancas. This Pink Bourbon lot undergoes a washed anaerobic fermentation of around 60 hours, followed by a thermal shock quench with alternating hot and cold water to fix aromatics, and precision drying before Sugarcane EA decaffeination. Flavor notes include pink grapefruit, orange sherbet, strawberry, and guava, with a sweet, silky, layered body and lingering tropical finish. Roasted light and recommended for pour-over or immersion brewing.
