Marlon Bolaños' Pink Bourbon | Thermal Shock | Sugarcane Ea Decaf
Summary
Colombian decaf coffee from producer Marlon Bolaños of The Three Coffee Farmers in Acevedo, Huila, grown at 1,670 meters. The Pink Bourbon variety is hand-picked, sorted by density, depulped and fermented in sealed tanks for 24 hours, then thermally shocked to arrest fermentation, washed, and decaffeinated using sugarcane-derived ethyl acetate (EA). Roasted light, it leads with orange cream soda, soft citrus and a creamy finish, with pink grapefruit acidity and guava through the middle.
