Gerba Dogo Ethiopia - Natural Heirloom
Summary
Ethiopian coffee from the Guji highlands, grown on a 50-hectare farm at 2100-2300 MASL and processed at the Gerba Dogo station by the Shonora family. The heirloom variety is naturally processed: ripe cherries are hand-picked and dried slowly on raised beds for several weeks with constant rotation. The farm uses organic compost from fallen shade tree leaves, free from chemical fertilisers. Flavour notes of violet, blueberry, raspberry and milky. Roasted light for filter and light-medium for espresso. Cupping score 88.5.
