El Salvador Aguacatal
Summary
El Salvador Aguacatal is a washed coffee from the Chalatenango region, produced by five small farmers (Isaí Portillo, Jose Armando Chacón, Jose Luis Hernandez, Miguel Ángel Murcía and Rene Alfonso Vasquez) in the high-altitude Aguacatal area. The Pacas variety undergoes a 72-hour fermentation in simple tanks and is dried on raised African beds. The cup profile features caramel sweetness, red fruit notes, and gentle citrus acidity. This coffee is recommended for filter brewing.
