Summary

Coffee from Nyabiraba Hill in the Mumirwa region of Rural Bujumbura, Burundi, produced by Migoti Coffee from the harvest of 173 smallholders, including lead farmers Mariya Habonimana and Gaudence Baranyizigiye. The Red Bourbon variety is grown at 1750 metres above sea level and processed naturally: cherries were sorted, fermented for one day, then dried in the sun on raised beds for 3-4 weeks at the Migoti Hill washing station. Roasted light/medium, it suits both filter and espresso and shows flavours of candied citrus and orange blossom.
