Rwanda Kirungu
Summary
Rwanda Kirungu is a naturally processed Red Bourbon coffee from the Mbare washing station in the Nyamasheke District of Rwanda's Western Province, grown at 1800 metres by 29 farmers under lead farmer Egide Vuguzigire. Producer Rwamatamu, a family-owned company founded in 2015, dried the cherries on raised beds with 48 hours of dry fermentation followed by about 33 days of full drying. The cup shows blueberry, strawberry, tropical fruit, umami and violet. Roasted light to medium for both filter and espresso.
