Summary

Ethiopia Chelichele Natural single origin specialty coffee from the Gedeb highlands in southern Ethiopia. Produced at the Chelichele site owned by Tamiru Amare, sourced from smallholder farmers with plots averaging half a hectare. Processed using the natural method: cherries are floated to remove defects, dried on raised beds for 12-15 days, and hand-sorted by local women. Supplied through Ephtah Specialty Coffee with a focus on ethical practices including pre-financing of harvests, fair payments, and community investment such as a daycare centre. Available as whole beans or ground.
