El Salvador Los Nogales Black Honey
Summary
Single origin specialty coffee from El Salvador, grown at Los Nogales farm, part of JASAL and managed by Jose Antonio Salaverria with Orlando Garcia as the specific farm manager. The farm, whose name translates to walnut tree, is where Salaverria grew up. Cherries are picked fully ripe, depulped very loosely (only about 1% of mucilage removed) for a black honey process, then dried on shaded raised beds for two days before 20-25 days of sun drying. Available as whole beans or freshly ground in coarse, medium, fine or espresso grind, packed in 100% recyclable bags.
