Summary
A decaffeinated coffee from Colombia's renowned Nogales farm, led by Oscar Hernandez, a third-generation farmer from Huila and Cup of Excellence winner (2006). Grown in Oporapa, Huila region. Maragesha variety. Processed using Thermal Shock method, which involves hand harvesting, flotation sorting, 24-hour fermentation, washing, and drying on raised beds. Decaffeination uses a natural must from coffee cherry husk and pulp, with beans immersed in hot water at 40°C for four hours, repeated twice. Flavour profile: lavender, kaffir leaves, thyme, coconut. High acidity. Intended for filter brewing methods.
