Kenia Gikirima
Summary
A classic washed Kenyan coffee from the Gikirima washing station, part of the Kibugu Farmers Cooperative Society in Embu, on the southeastern slopes of Mount Kenya. Around 1,050 smallholder farmers grow SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties at altitudes above 1,800 meters. The fully washed process yields a clean, juicy cup with intense blackcurrant, orange, kiwi, and lemon acidity, complemented by a subtle tomato-like umami twist. Medium body and vibrant acidity make it a bright, expressive filter coffee.
