Summary
Karibu is a 100% Arabica blend from Ethiopia, Brazil, and Kenya. The Ethiopian component from the Buture Cooperative in Limu (Agaro) grows at 2,050 m; the Brazilian component from the APAS Cooperative in Mantiqueira de Minas grows at 1,150 m using Yellow Bourbon, Yellow Catuai, Acaia, and Mundo Novo varieties; the Kenyan component from the Rungeto Cooperative in Kirinyaga grows at 1,750 m using SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru 11. The Ethiopian and Kenyan components are washed. It has a complex, low-acidity cup with notes of chocolate and cinnamon, and a medium roast.
