Summary
Single origin microlot coffee from Aquiares Estate in the Turrialba region of Costa Rica. Grown at 1,200 meters above sea level using Centroamericano H1 (F1 Hybrid) varietal. Processed using the Red Honey method where the coffee cherry's outer skin is removed but the sweet mucilage layer remains on the bean during 18-24 days of drying on raised beds. Medium roasted with an Agtron score of 63.1. Tasting notes include caramel, peach, raspberry, and roasted hazelnut. The farm is carbon neutral certified and is Costa Rica's largest coffee farm, established in 1890.
