Galo Geisha Washed Wx
Summary
This coffee from Ecuador's Pichincha region is produced by Galo Morales at Finca Cruz Loma, a family farm passed down through three generations. It is a Geisha variety, processed using the washed method (WX): handpicked cherries at above 22 Brix are floated, de-pulped, fermented in water for 24 hours, flushed to remove mucilage, and dried on raised meshes. The sensory profile features notes of chamomile, clementine, and honey, with gardenia and yellow apple in the aroma, a soft and delicate body, and malic acidity. The coffee scored 89.0 and is optimized for filter brewing.
