Costa Rican coffee from Volcán Azul, produced by Alejo Khale Castro in the Poás Volcano region of Alajuela at 1,600-1,650 masl. The Sarchimor variety, specifically the San Isidro selection developed at Finca Volcán Azul, is processed as Natural NX: whole ripe cherries dried with skin and mucilage intact. Sensory profile shows black tea, red currant and toffee, with fig and vanilla aroma, purple plum and sugar cane aftertaste, malic red currant acidity and a juicy light body. Optimized for filter brewing.
