Ethiopia: Atote Murango (alo)
Summary
A dry-processed Ethiopian coffee from Sidama, produced via Alo Coffee, founded by Tamiru Tadesse. Grown at an ultra-high elevation of 2400-2520 meters, the ripe cherries are sorted and traditionally sun-dried for 16-24 days. The heirloom varietal 74158 gives small, dense beans with a sweet, refined and balanced cup. Expect an intoxicating aroma and notes of raspberries, lemon zest and red grape, with a syrup-like mouthfeel and transparent sweetness.
