Summary
Kisson is a Kenyan coffee from the Kisson Estate in Kiambu County's Komothai region, approximately 40 km from Nairobi. The 12-hectare plantation lies at the foot of the Aberdare mountain range and is owned by Peter Kimani, whose family has been cultivating the estate since the 1940s. The coffee is processed using washed method with spontaneous fermentation. Varieties include SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, K7, and Batian. The cup profile features currant, pink grapefruit, and peach. This lot was sourced by Casino Mocca and Ethicoffee on a joint African buying trip and was imported by air freight.
