Summary
Kii is a washed Kenyan coffee from the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County, near Kibugu. Approximately 1,800 smallholder farmers contribute to this lot, growing SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties at 1310-1900 meters altitude. The coffee undergoes machine pulping, spontaneous overnight fermentation, washing, and 9-13 days of sun drying. Flavor notes include redcurrant, grapefruit, and blood orange. Recommended for filter brewing.
