Rwanda - Cyendajuro
Summary
Naturally processed Rwandan coffee from the Women's Hands Cyendajuru group, a collective of women farmers who pool their production at Simbi Washing Station in the Huye district of Rwanda's Southern Province. Grown at high altitude on Bourbon trees, the coffee is wet fermented, density sorted through grading channels and sun dried. Simbi Washing Station, a two-time Cup of Excellence winner, supports the producers' group with fertilisers and small loans. The cup is sweet, fruity and round, with notes of strawberry, caramel and milk chocolate, suited to both espresso and filter.
