Indie Gundikhan
Summary
Indie Gundikhan is a washed specialty coffee from the Gundikhan farm in Chikkamagalur, Karnataka, southwestern India, owned by the Saif family (third-generation growers). The coffee grows at around 1,400 m above sea level under the shade of native trees, near the Bhadra tiger reserve. The Chandragiri variety, a cross of Villa Sarchi and Híbrido de Timor, is hand-picked, sorted, fermented for 18 hours in water tanks, washed with clean water, and dried for 14 days on raised beds in a solar dryer. The cup offers black tea, juicy mandarin compote, and a gentle touch of spiced clove. Recommended for filter brewing (Aeropress, V60, Chemex, French press, Solo Dripper).
