Costa Rica - Sl-28 White Honey
Summary
A single-origin coffee from Finca El Venado in Grecia, Costa Rica's West Valley, produced by brothers Alexander and Magali Delgado. This lot is of the SL-28 variety, grown at 1200-1900 meters above sea level and processed using the White Honey method, which leaves some mucilage on the seed during drying. The cup is characterized by an easy, toffee-like sweetness, cooked fruit and raisin notes, balanced by bright, tart acidity, finishing with a candy-corn sweetness. The farm is family-run, with the mill located nearby, allowing for same-day processing of the cherries.
