Costa Rica Las Lajas - Black Honey
Summary
Costa Rica Las Lajas - Black Honey is a single-origin coffee from Sabanilla de Alajuela in Costa Rica's Central Valley, produced by Oscar Chacón and Francisca Cubillo of Las Lajas. This lot is composed of the San Isidro variety and processed using the Black Honey method, where nearly all fruit mucilage remains on the seed during drying. The cup is intensely sweet and layered, with notes of ripe berries, tropical fruit, caramelized sugar, and honey, featuring a syrupy body, balanced acidity, and lasting sweetness.
