This coffee comes from Giku Hill in Butanyerera, Burundi, processed at Ninga Washing Station, part of the Long Miles Coffee project. During the 2025 harvest, 742 smallholder farmers delivered cherries to this station, built in 2019 at around 1900 masl. The region is remote, with coffee trees grown by local farmers who have shown resilience through periods of conflict. The coffee is mainly Bourbon, grown around 1700 masl, and this lot is processed using the honey method. It offers a structured cup with floral, berry, chocolate, and peach notes, reflecting the clarity and complexity typical of the area.
