Costa Rica Tarrazú
Summary
A single-origin washed coffee from the Tarrazú region of San José, Costa Rica, produced by the Coope Dota farming cooperative, which represents about 1100 growers and was the first carbon-neutral certified coffee processor in the world. Grown at 1500-1800 masl from Catuai and Caturra varieties, it offers tasting notes of lemon curd, biscuit and milk chocolate, with citrus, brown sugar sweetness, full smooth flavour and balanced acidity. The roaster notes its neutral profile is best suited for espresso, while filter preparation brings out syrupy sweetness.
