Summary

Single-origin coffee from Hacienda Sonora farm on the slopes of the Poás Volcano in the Valle Central region of Costa Rica. The farm operates on renewable hydroelectric energy and, thanks to its own micromill, keeps lots separated by variety to create unique microlots. This Caturra lot is natural processed: selectively hand-picked cherries are dried on raised beds or the farm patio. The cup offers grapefruit tart-sweetness, a rich, full-bodied syrupy treacle or molasses sweetness, and a delicate Turkish delight floral finish. Suited to both espresso and filter brewing.
