GIOVANNA is a 100% fine Robusta (Canephora) coffee from the Chakra Warmi women's cooperative in Loreto, Orellana province, Ecuadorian Amazon. The cooperative works with over 200 Kichwa families and grows mainly Napo Payamino and Conilon varieties. The coffee undergoes natural anaerobic fermentation, producing notes of passion fruit, caramel waffle, and hazelnut. It was featured as an espresso at the 2022 German Barista Championship. A portion of proceeds supports the rubicon LGBTQ+ community center in Cologne.
