Colombia Luna Azul Black Honey
Summary
Colombia Luna Azul Black Honey is a single-origin coffee from the farm Villa Lucia in Santa Barbara, Antioquia, Colombia. It is made from Castillo and Colombia varieties and processed using the Black Honey method: after one week of whole cherry fermentation in open tanks, the coffee is depulped without water to retain the mucilage, then dried on raised beds for one to three weeks until reaching 11% moisture. The cup profile features notes of maraschino cherry, tropical punch, and banana split, with a sweet and fruity character.
