The Flute-Playing Fruit is a specialty coffee from Rwanda, produced by Rwamatamu Coffee in Mbare, Isano Lot 1. Grown at 1,800 metres above sea level, this Red Bourbon variety is washed processed. Medium-dark roasted, it offers flavours of smooth dark chocolate, sticky dates, and a caramelised cola finish. It scored 85.25 and is enjoyable with or without milk. Rwamatamu Coffee, founded by Gaston Rutaganda and Laeticia Mukantwaza, supports women's cooperatives and a Youth Association Project in the region.
