Karimikui AA is a Kenyan coffee from Kirinyaga County, grown on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya at 1,600-1,700 meters altitude. It is produced by over 2,500 smallholder farmers organized under the Rung'eto Farmer Cooperative Society. Varieties include SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11. The coffee undergoes a fully washed process with fermentation, washing, and slow drying on raised beds, resulting in a clean, vibrant cup. Flavour notes include cherry, maple syrup, and tomato. Suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
