La Bolsa is a single-origin coffee from Guatemala, produced by Maria Vides at Finca La Bolsa in La Libertad, Huehuetenango. Grown at 1800 meters altitude, it consists of Caturra and Bourbon varieties. The coffee is washed processed with a fermentation time of 18-24 hours. Flavour notes include cherry, plum, and chocolate with a long chocolate finish. It has an SCA score of 85.5. The farm was bought by Jorge Vides in 1958 and placed second in the 2002 Cup of Excellence competition with a score of 94.98.
